DARK FIBER
Cross River Fiber has a unique and customized discipline to deploying Dark Fiber infrastructure. Our comprehensive approach to network service design and implementation concentrates on the current fiber landscape offered by other carriers and our method of bettering it. With Dark Fiber selections ranging from standard product offerings to customized options, our clients can choose a solution that is most suitable to their data network and their unique needs.
CRF Standard Dark
• Our conventional “off the shelf” dark fiber network
• Designed around diversity and latency criteria
• Composed of new standard single mode fiber (ITU Spec - G.652)
• Typically interconnecting to carrier hotels, financial exchanges, and datacenters
• Ultra scalable with unrestricted bandwidth for carrier, enterprise, and public businesses
• Fixed costs with virtually no constraints
CRF Custom Dark
• Specifically designed to a client’s requirements
• Long term fiber lease and IRU options available
• Selections available for composite fiber optic cable types
• Enables client to tailor their business around dedicated Layer 1transport
• Allows clients full control over their network assets
• Effectively limits all dependencies on the incumbent carriers
Built from the ground up, our Dark Fiber products are characterized by utilizing the world’s leading optical fiber cables and are fabricated of 100% new glass. All or our Dark Fiber products are guaranteed and protected through strict SLA’s with our clients. Cross River Fiber is responsible for every aspect of maintenance and restoration so you never have to worry about your connectivity being restored due to a fiber outage or relocation of facilities.
Whether you are looking for Medical IT services, Enterprise solutions, Business networks, or you require security, diversity, scalability, ultra-low-latency, unlimited bandwidth, increased data speed or simply “independence” for your Layer 1 network - we have you covered.

DIM LIT FIBER
Cross River Fiber’s Dim Lit Fiber product offer clients with a wavelength assignment within a fiber span while providing bandwidth flexibility similar to that of dark fiber. Wavelength Division Multiplexing enables the simultaneous transmission of multiple wavelengths over a single fiber cable. While the client does not have full access to the fiber spectrum within the fiber span, Dim Lit fiber has many characteristics of that of a dark fiber network.
CRF Dim Lit
• Client has control over bandwidth requirements
• Provides a lower cost option and alternate solution to dark fiber
• Active monitoring on the fiber span by Cross River Fiber
• Similar scalability to that of dark fiber
• Restricted to a specific wavelength within the fiber span
• Cross River Fiber will provide the intermediate lightwave equipment at fiber ends

FIBER FEASIBILITY & NETWORK STUDIES
Cross River Fiber has many resources and years of telecommunications expertise behind them. Our teams are very intuitive and knowledgeable when evaluating fiber assets and providing valuable information to our clients. We have created a streamlined approach to fiber feasibility and network studies with the capability to produce data to our clients in various formats.
CRF Studies
• Confidential fiber optic analysis for enterprise and public sector clients who need assistance in developing custom fiber connectivity between specific locations
• Cross River Fiber will create comprehensive mapping and design drawings to illustrate results
• Offer geographical OSP and ISP statistics on existing carrier and datacenter penetration
• Support clients to make informed and selective decisions when choosing a POP or collocation facility
• As requested, Cross River Fiber may build a custom dark fiber network (see CRF Custom Dark) if Cross River Fiber facilities are not available
CRF Latency
• Supporting our carrier and financial clients with their desire to have intelligence on the most current low-latency fiber spans available
• Content is very accurate and comprehendible
• Both Domestic and International reporting available
• As requested, Cross River Fiber may build a custom dark fiber network (see CRF Custom Dark) if Cross River Fiber facilities are not available
